Nedumudi Venu, the longtime film star who won several of India’s most prestigious acting honors, has died. He was 73. Venu died from kidney-related issues and sepsis, CNN reported, citing the actor’s doctor. Venu had gone into intensive care Saturday after being hospitalized last Tuesday. The actor was a three-time winner at the National Film Awards, which is India’s top movie awards ceremony.
